Production Stills from Bodies: Place Called Us, A Music Video for Gun Control
|
These beautiful production stills are from our April 14, 2018 shoot for Bodies, Place For Us, A Music Video for Gun Control. Featuring Alex Mackey and starring 22 dancers, the video takes us through a girl's experience after a school shooting. Though a serious and heartbreaking piece of work, there are moments of levity and a real sense of hope at the end. Directed by Reena Dutt, choreographed by me, and produced by Danielle Phelan, Ginn Thomas and Puppett, with Executive Production by Penelope Wong, under the auspices of Cinefemme and We Make Movies.

Assassins, produced by Sight Unseen Theatre, and directed by Cindy Marie Jenkins, started my choreography career in Los Angeles. I was in a show with the Musical Director, Andy Mitton and he asked if I wanted to audition. Without thinking, I said, "No.... but I would love to choreograph it..." I have not looked back.
