I was asked to make an anniversary gift using sea glass gathered over a summer vacation. I took on the challenge; buying a power drill and learning to drill glass for the first time. Sydney Guine, one of my long time students is featured as Dancer of the Week on the website Pretty Brown Dancers. Sydney was one of my ballet one and two dancers at the Performing Arts Center. She has since become a Debbie Allen Red Bird, performing with the junior company all over the country. Recently they were guests of Michelle Obama at the White House. Sydney attends the Los Angeles County High School of the Arts and is on her way to a fantastic dance career. She still takes my class whenever she can and is a gracious and humble student.
